When you buy a t-shirt, a mobile phone or a bar of chocolate, do you stop and think about where it has come from and who made it?
It is not always obvious. Most products have lots of links in a supply chain involving how it’s been made, assembled, transported, sold etc. Each link in a supply chain can help or hinder acts of perpetratorship. Who is culpable? Is it only the perpetrator who has profited from exploiting their workers, or does the customer who chooses to buy the product also bear some responsibility?
Take a photograph of an item/s in your everyday life that you think might have dubious supply chains or unethical manufacturing practices.
